Learn SEO With Sayed Kaif
When you type a question in Google, you get a list in seconds. This page explains, in simple words, how a website gets into that list, and how I can help with that work.

What is SEO
SEO is short for search engine optimization. In plain words, it is the job of making a website one of the first answers Google shows, for the words its customers actually type.
Take a tailor in Karachi. A customer types “best tailor near Saddar” and Google shows a list. The tailor who has a clear page, a correct title, a fast site, and a Google Business Profile has a much better chance of being near the top than a tailor with a slow page and no profile at all. SEO is the set of fixes that put the first tailor in that position.
Google first finds a page, then stores it, then ranks it when a search matches it. If any of those three parts fails, the page stays hidden. My job is to find which part failed, fix it, and then check again in Google Search Console.

Search Engine Optimization on Wikipedia Google SEO Starter Guide Google Search Console PageSpeed InsightsOpen Search Console first for your own site. It shows which pages Google has stored, which pages it skipped, and which search words already bring clicks. That data is more useful than any guess.
Why SEO Matters
An ad brings a visitor only while you pay for it. A page that ranks well can bring visitors day after day, without paying for each click, as long as the page stays useful.
People Click the Top Results
Most searchers click one of the first few results and rarely go to page three. If your site is on page three, most of those searchers will never see it, even if your work is good.
It Builds Trust
A site that Google shows again and again for the same topic looks like a real, active site. A site with no search presence has to prove itself from zero every time.
It Helps Local Shops
A customer who searches on a phone is often ready to call, visit, or order. A correct profile, correct hours, and recent reviews turn that search into a call, not just a visit to the site.
It Improves the Site Itself
To rank well, a site must load fast, read well on a phone, and answer the question clearly. Those fixes help every visitor, not just Google.
Branches of SEO
I break SEO into four parts, so a problem can be named and fixed, instead of doing random work and hoping for a result.
On-Page SEO
Work on the page itself.
- A title that says the topic in the words searchers use.
- A first paragraph that answers the question, not a long intro.
- Headings that split the page into clear parts.
- Link text that says where the link goes, not just “click here”.
- Images sized for the web, with alt text that describes them.
Off-Page SEO
Work outside the site that builds trust for it.
- Links from relevant sites, placed in real articles.
- Guest articles on sites that check their content.
- Podcast episode pages that point back to the site.
- Clear brand mentions on other sites, with the site name spelled right.
- A link record, so the site owner can see every link built.
Technical SEO
Work that helps Google read and store the site.
- Speed: check PageSpeed Insights, then fix the biggest slowdown first.
- Phone view: test the page on a phone, not only on a laptop.
- Sitemap and robots file: guide Google to the right pages.
- Fix broken pages and pages that repeat the same content.
- Secure HTTPS, and a clean site structure with no dead ends.
Local SEO
Work for searches near one place.
- Google Business Profile filled in full, with photos and hours.
- City words used where they belong, not stuffed into every line.
- Reviews asked for after real work, and answered in a polite tone.
- Same name, phone and address on the site and on listings.
- A map and a contact page that a phone user can use in one tap.
How I Work
I do not start with promises. I start with a check, then a short fix list, then a re-check.
1. Audit
I check speed, mobile view, titles, headings, index status, and broken links, and I write the top problems in plain words.
2. Fix
I fix the biggest problem first, then the next one. For links, I build only relevant links and I keep their URLs in a record.
3. Re-check
After the fix, I check Search Console and speed scores again, so the site owner can see what changed, and what still needs work.
